Late in 2002, my husband and I became beta testers for the 3D virtual internet world of Second Life. Since 2003 I have been creating 3D objects for member use in Second Life using the object modeler that comes bundled with the Second Life viewer. The first object that I created for sale was a baby grand piano, complete with scripted bench that animates any avatar that sits on it to "play" the piano. Soon after that, I began to upload music files that could be inserted into my "sheet music" objects which were scripted to play a piano song when rezzed in world and clicked by the avatar. The sheet music was intended for use with the piano so one could hear real piano music when thier avatar was playing the piano.

I have since branched out into designing harpsichords, pipe organs and corresponding scripted sheet music for these instruments as well. My other favorite things to design and build are Victorian homes and furnishings. I have a Victorian beach house on my home property where anyone is welcome to enter and look around. All items, including the house, are for sale. My shop is located nearby where one can demo samples of my instruments and sheet music and purchase all of my catalog inventory from the vendors.
